Amazing Grace

You feel lonely. Helpless. Worthless. Like a failure. Unloved. Guilty for what you have done. You don't know what to do and how you got to the place you are at now. Well I have good news for you! You are NOT alone. We are not perfect people and we all go through this. But you need to know that God can change your circumstances. He loves you more than you will ever know and wants only the best for you. He wants you to be overjoyed and love your life.

Cast your cares on the Lord. You may feel like people don't care about what you're going through, but know that there is someone far more important- that cares so deeply for you. His name is Jesus and I assure you he knows exactly what you're going through. Tell Him how you feel, he'll listen.

“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” (Ephesians 1:7)

Ask Him to forgive you, to renew you, and to help you get back up again. Life is too short to be sad or angry.

He can forgive you for everything.  Amazing, isn't it?

You are a NEW creation :)

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." -2 Corinthians 5:17
This is one of my favorite bible verses, it reminds me every day that I am a Child of God. He is my father and only wants the best for me.

We all have doubts in life, but we should not let anyone tell us who we are. The past is the past and there is nothing you can do about it now. All you can do is learn from it, leave it behind, and move on. You are more than choices that you've made, you are more than the sum of my past mistakes, you are more than the problems you create, you've been remade. As long as you confess your sins before God the Father, you will be fully forgiven and cleansed from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)

God doesn't care about who you were. God cares about who you are now. He doesn't want you to be carrying around extra baggage. It will only weight you down. These feelings of guilt are like heavy chains and anchors around the soul. Ask God for freedom.  God says “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28)

Grace is sufficient, and God is bigger than our sins. Remember who you are in Christ.

Put your life into His hands...

You say: "It's impossible." God says: All things are possible. (Luke 18:27)

You say: "I'm too tired." God says: I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28-30)

You say: "Nobody really loves me." God says: I love you. (John 3:16 & John 13:34)

You say: "I can't go on." God says: My grace is sufficient. (2 Corinthians 12:9 & Psalm 91:15)

You say: "I can't figure things out." God says: I will direct your steps. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Make time for God....
You say: "I can't do it." God says: You can do all things. (Philippians 4:13)

You say: "I'm not able." God says: I am able. (2 Corinthians 9:8)

You say: "It's not worth it." God says: It will be worth it. (Roman 8:28)

You say: "I can't forgive myself." God says: I FORGIVE YOU. (1 John 1:9 & Romans 8:1)

You say: "I can't manage." God says: I will supply all your needs. (Philippians 4:19)

You say: "I'm afraid." God says: I have not given you a spirit of fear. (2 Timothy 1:7)

You say: "I'm always worried and frustrated." God says: Cast all your cares on ME. (1 Peter 5:7)

You say: "I don't have enough faith." God says: I've given everyone a measure of faith. (Romans 12:3)

You say: "I'm not smart enough." God says: I give you wisdom. (1 Corinthians 1:30)

You say: "I feel all alone." God says: I will never leave you nor forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5)

Take Time For God. He'll ALWAYS be there for you. At ALL times. Cast your cares onto Him. Give your heart, your life to Him. He'll take care of everything for you. Put your life into His hands! Be blessed.

Watch your attitude.

REMEMBER YOU CAN MISS A LOT OF GOOD THINGS IN LIFE BY HAVING THE WRONG ATTITUDE, SO HERE ARE SOME TIPS TO HELP YOU:

1) Forgive quickly.

2) Be cheerful, even when you don't feel like it.

3) Be happy with what you have while working for what you want.

4) Become the most positive and enthusiastic person you know.

5) Spend your life lifting people up, not putting people down.

6) Don't expect life to be fair. Everything happens for a reason.

7) Look for the opportunity that's hidden in every adversity.

8) Never underestimate the power of laughter (It's good for you).

9) Count your blessings.

10) Keep an attitude of gratitude.

11) Forget your past, live in the present, and look forward to your future.

Remember that if you look for the worst in life and in people, you'll find it. BUT if you look for the best, you'll find that instead.

Faith comes by hearing...

You're probably wondering what in the world an iPhone 4 has anything to do with faith. Well let me explain. This is the phone I have and it is simply amazing!! I don't know what you use your phone for, but I use it for more than just talking and texting. This phone is the best invention out there. The apps on it are super cool.

I have an Audio bible app on my iPhone 4 called Audio NIV and I can honestly say this is my favorite app. And it's FREE! We all get busy and don't always have time to read God's word, but since I downloaded this app, that circumstance has changed. Now, I can listen to it! All I do is plug it into my cars Ipod adapter and listen during my commute to work. You can also just pop in your headphones and listen that way. This is just plain awesome. Remember, reading is good for you too.

If you have an iPhone, you should definitely download the Bible app. If you don't have an iPhone, I would strongly consider purchasing one. :)

ROM 10:17: "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (When God speaks to you through the Holy Spirit)

One week without God...

Without God, our week would be: Sinday, Mournday, Tearsday, Wasteday, Thirstday, Fightday, and Shatterday. Seven Days without God makes one WEAK!

This is so true! I know from experience. The more time I spend doing 'things' that don't give glory to God, the more I get those bad feelings of depression and sadness. It's good to constantly stay in His presence and be filled with His holy spirit. May God bless all of you reading this. Keep your focus on Him and He will bless you. I'm not saying you'll never have a BAD day, but with God's help everything will be okay.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8

LOVE NEVER FAILS

This is seriously my favorite verse and reminds me what love truly consists of. No matter what, love will always be there, for God is love. I like to read this verse over and over again, replacing the word 'love' with 'God'. It gives me a bigger picture of who God is.

LOOK AT IT THIS WAY
God is patient, God is kind. He does not envy, he does not boast, he is not proud. He does not dishonor others, He is not self-seeking, he is not easily angered, he keeps no record of wrongs. He does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. He always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

He NEVER fails.

And it's true. God never fails. I fail, you fail, we all fail. BUT God? He never fails.
